Marks & Spencer signs new deal with Norbert Dentressangle
Marks & Spencer has renewed its contract with Norbert Dentressangle for a further five years, increasing the scope of the partnership to include the delivery of a major automation project at the retailer’s Bradford distribution centre, along with the management of the existing ambient food operation at the site.

Norbert Dentressangle already manages four Marks & Spencer’s general merchandise regional distribution centres in Neasden, Thorncliffe (Sheffield), Stoke and Warrington and, under the new agreement, also takes responsibility for the 1.1 million sq ft Bradford warehouse.

Norbert Dentressangle took over the management of the ambient food operation at Bradford in August this year. Over the next two years, the company will also project manage the design and installation of an automated system for the storage and handling of boxed general merchandise product for distribution to Marks & Spencer stores nationwide and will be responsible for running the facility when it becomes operational in 2016.

Building on a 25 year partnership, Marks & Spencer believes that Norbert Dentressangle is well positioned to deliver the next phase of their supply chain vision at Bradford.
