Interested in developing a career in humanitarian logistics or procurement? Raleigh International has an exciting opportunity for someone to truly make a difference

Raleigh International, a sustainable development charity, is recruiting a temporary logistic coordinator to join their volunteer manager team in Tanzania.

This volunteering opportunity involves spending 13 weeks (25 Jan - 23 Apr 2015) at an operational hub in Tanzania, just outside Morogoro. This is an exciting place to work; it is home to a wide variety of volunteer manager roles, so you will learn about other disciplines and get involved with jobs key to the success of a development programme. Primarily, however, you will work as part of the logistics team to ensure food, equipment and volunteers are where they need to be on our remote, rural project sites. The ideal candidate for these roles is a proactive, organised and flexible team player.

Our volunteer managers are normally expected to fundraise £1,950 for Raleigh International, but due to the proximity of the departure date we are willing to offer a bursary on this amount. Once you are in country Raleigh will cover the cost of your food, accommodation, training and preparation, specialist equipment, and insurance (excluding personal belongings cover).

Interviews are taking place as soon as possible, to be considered for this role please contact Lizi on volunteermanagers@raleighinternational.org and mention CILT.
