Perspectives of Supply Chain Integration
Tuesday 21st March,
IIPSI Seminar rooms, WMG
‘Competition is no longer company to company, but supply chain to supply chain’
A dominant business trend over the last 30 years has been to outsource ‘non-core’ business activities. Competition has shifted to between supply chains (SC) rather than between firms. Vertically integrated organisational structures have been replaced by more network based designs. As a result, SC integration has been increasingly recognised as critical to the effective and efficient flow of material across the SC, enabling competitive advantage.
Interested in improving the performance not only of your firm, but the supply chains within which it is embedded, this session will be of value to you.
