Europa Warehouse - a division of independent logistics operator Europa Worldwide - has been awarded a new contract by Euro Car Parts.
The deal is worth an estimated £1 million and will see Europa support national distribution centres held by the car and commercial vehicle parts distributor.
Over 18 months, Europa will provide 3PL warehousing and logistics services - and this is forecast to be a period of rapid growth for Euro Car Parts.
Up to 5,000 pallets will be imported from direct suppliers and stored at Europa's 16,540 sq m Birmingham warehouse. After this, products will be picked, packed and delivered by a road freight service, to a national distribution centre based in Tamworth, Staffordshire.
Euro Car Parts chief executive officer Martin Gray said the contract "affords us the time to concentrate on our investment and on growing our business, safe in the knowledge that we can rely on [Europa] to deliver the speed and quality of service we expect".
