Global business process outsourcing (BPO) partner arvato has strengthened its supply chain business in the UK with two high-level appointments. 

The new hires have extensive supply chain experience and will be responsible for supporting retailers and brands in the fashion, beauty and technology sectors with their omni-channel growth strategies.

Claire Muir, who joins as Director of Business Development UK, will increase awareness of arvato’s logistics services among luxury and consumer products retailers looking to expand their multi-channel   operations both in the UK and globally. With more than eight years’ experience in delivering outsourced logistics, Claire joins from the Amethyst Group where she gained extensive knowledge of developing multi-channel fulfilment solutions. Previously, Claire held management and buying roles for The Body Shop, Arcadia Group and Oasis Stores.

arvato has also welcomed Mark Draycott as Director of Business Development, to focus on expanding the firm’s footprint in the technology sector. Mark previously spent 14 years in sales and strategic account management roles at UPS and more recently at FedEx, where he focused on developing supply chain solutions for leading technology brands across EMEA.
