Qualifications

New CILT(UK) Level 2 Qualification Launch  - September 2009

The CILT(UK) will launch a new Level 2 Certificate, which will be accredited in the Qualification Credit Framework, and will supersede the CILT(UK) Level 2 Introductory Certificate as of 01 September 2009. Those already undertaking the current qualification will continue to study as normal, but all future candidates will be enrolled on to the new qualification.

The qualification has been developed in conjunction with leading industry experts, and is designed to provide a broad understanding of logistics and transport. Assessment and Award of this qualification will distinguish candidates as ideal employees with abilities and underpinning knowledge which have been rigorously tested.

To achieve the new Level 2 qualification, candidates must study and pass two mandatory units and two option units. A summary of the units is as follows, and full details can be found in the Level 2 Certificate Standards.

As the course will be accredited in the Qualification Credit Framework, credits will be awarded for each unit taken and as such the units can be studied and purchased individually.

Learning material has been developed for all the units of this qualification and may be purchased from the Institute.
