The Forum has attended a number of events throughout 2010:

12th October - All Party Parliamentary Maritime and Ports Group ( APMPG)

The Ports, Maritime & Waterways Sector has both a Northern and Southern based Committee who have met at regular intervals thorugh the year. If you are interested in joining either committee please contact Sinead McLoughlin at CILT via email.
The Sector has also enjoyed a presentation by Freight by Water and recently visited the London Gateway Project.
We have, in conjunction with CILT's Public Policy Committee, submitted our thoughts regarding the proposed changes to the Coastguard Service.
CILT now have a Benelux Group and we are liaising with them in respect of a possible visit to the Port of Rotterdam in June 2011.
Arrangements are now being made in respect of the Institute's Annual Shipping Lecture. to be held in November 2011, when we hope to have a high profile speaker.
