Anzir Boodoo

Anzir has worked in academia and consultancy before starting his own business and succumbing to a long term illness. He is now doing a PhD in sustainable transport at the Institute for Transport Studies in Leeds.

Anzir’s experience encompasses research, rail operational planning, public transport planning, IT support and online retail, though his current activities are mostly based around sustainable transport and sustainable urban development.

Prior to taking up the role of Young Professionals’ Representative for the North East Region, Anzir was Regional Membership Officer and a regular contributor to the Region’s and Institute’s responses to policy consultation documents. He is also active with the Transport Management Systems Forum.
