Aspire Careers Foundation

Aspire is the Careers Foundation from CILT, which is being managed as an independent fund within the main charity. The aim of Aspire is to help transport, logistics and supply chain professionals who might not otherwise be able to secure the necessary funding to develop their careers. It will do this by providing financial assistance for educational and professional development. Funds to enable this support to be given are being sought from benefactors from across the world and prospective beneficiaries can apply for support from the fund from wherever they are in the world.

Aspire is an international foundation designed to support professionals operating in a truly global profession.

Who will benefit?

Aspire has been established to provide support to qualifying individuals who want to develop and progress their career in logistics, transport and the supply chain. People of all ages, nationalities and levels of experience will be able to benefit from Aspire, which can provide help with:

  • Fees for professional education and training programmes
  • Expert mentoring
  • The purchase of appropriate books and other training and educational materials
  • Tailored training events, summer schools and master classes
  • Access to a shared body of unparalleled practical knowledge

Our long-term aim is to raise the standard of the profession and for Aspire to play a leading role in the development of as many individuals as possible from across the world.

Aspire will benefit the profession and the industries that we serve by helping to build professional excellence, leading to more effective supply chain and transport solutions.  Funded by today's professionals and businesses in order to help develop skills and expertise in others whose opportunities have been limited, Aspire is off to a flying start as several significant donations have been made by senior industry professionals.

The opportunity to contribute is not limited, and we are recommending to all members that they support Aspire. Whether through single one-off contributions or regular smaller payments, every contribution will be welcome.
