CILT(UK) Certificate Student of the Year
The CILT(UK) Student of the Year awards are awarded to an CILT(UK) logistics student who has successfully completed their studies for the 'CILT(UK) Certificate in Logistics', 'CILT(UK) Diploma in Logistics' or 'CILT(UK) Advanced Diploma in Logistics' between 1st July 2007 and 30th June 2008.
WINNER Level 3 Certificate: Richard Flinn, Brakes plc
Richard Flinn was nominated for the Institute's Student of the Year Certificate in Logistics and Transport 2008 Award by his trainers at Logistics Learning Alliance.
Logistics Learning Alliance commented that Richard's commitment to his studies was very positive from the outset. Richard recognised that there was great utility in the programme and that many of the techniques he was being challenged with through the programme could be applied in the challenges he faced in his daily working environment.
Richard's line manager confirms that he can now see that Richard's approach to seeking and solving some complicated logistics problems is one that is methodical and creative. He also feels that Richard has developed well as a manager since completing the course and will regularly put himself forward to assist in the many challenges the business offers and his confidence has grown.
