Annual Awards For Excellence

CILT(UK) 'Diploma' and 'Certificate' Student of the Year

The CILT(UK) Annual Awards for Excellence encourage high standards by recognising outstanding achievements within the fields of logistics and transport. Student of the Year is a way to identify individuals whose performance and accomplishments have gone above and beyond standard and who deserve to be highlighted and applauded. By nominating students for this award, you are demonstrating your dedication and commitment to the success of  your learners, as well as highlighting the excellence of your learning Centre and those working within it.

As a winning centre you will be entitled to the following:

  • Five free student registrations*
  • One place at the prestigious awards dinner at the Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square, London - a fantastic networking opportunity
  • A dedicated article in CILT(UK)'s Focus magazine about your Centre and the winning student

Two students who have successfully completed one of the qualifications listed below, between July 2009 and June 2010, will be awarded Student of the Year.

  • CILT(UK) Introductory Certificate in Logistics and Transport
  • CILT(UK) Certificate in Logistics and Transport (QCF)
  • CILT(UK) Certificate in Logistics and Transport
  • CILT(UK) Professional Diploma in Logistics and Transport
  • CILT(UK) Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Transport

The Certificate award is open to students who have completed either the Level 2 Introductory Certificate, Level 2 Certificate (QCF) or the Level 3 Certificate. The Diploma award is open to students who have completed either the Level 5 Professional Diploma or Level 6 Advanced Diploma.

Centres can download the nomination form by clicking here, please note that students must be nominated by their study Centre. All nominations and supporting documentation needs to be submitted by Friday 27th May 2011, please see below for information on the supporting documentation required for each student who is nominated.

Supporting documentation:

  • A relevant part of the candidate's work to support this nomination (please do not send any other modules).
  • An A4 size, single-spaced, summary that explains why the student has been nominated by the training centre, what makes the student stand out from other students and any other information that might be relevant to their nomination.

Additional supporting information, again A4 size, single-spaced, may be provided by the student's employer. 

*Refers to standard £26 registrations only and does not include student membership. Free registrations must be used within 3 months of notification of the Award.
