Young Professionals Forum Committee

Graham Stewart MILT

After leaving school, Graham elected to move from Edinburgh to Liverpool where he studied for a degree in Transport at Liverpool John Moores University.  During the course, Graham spent a year working with Lothian Buses as a Management Trainee on an Industrial Placement working with Operations, Scheduling and Driving amongst many other areas.  On return to Liverpool for his final year, Graham produced his dissertation examining the Effectiveness of Park and Ride schemes in reducing urban congestion.  As well as this Graham spent time driving for local Coach Operator - Selwyns Travel Services.

After graduating from university with a 2:1 with honours Graham moved back up to Edinburgh and joined Arup as a Graduate Transport Planner.  At Arup, Graham has worked on many projects in many areas including Development Planning and Sustainable Transport Initiatives as well as trafficn modelling using a variety of software packages.

Graham is the Young Professionals Rep for Scotland and is actively involved in organising and attending Young Professionals events with the CILT.

In his spare time, Graham likes to play golf, support his favourite football team - Hibs, read books and watch films.
