What is it?
The Logistics Directors Forum (LDF) is a unique group of leading professionals in supply chain management and logistics. The membership is limited to 150 and represents a mix of manufacturers, retailers, logistics service providers, armed services, utilities, government advisers, academics and consultants.
Membership is personal, by invitation, for individuals who typically have chief executive or director status and significant budget holding responsibility. Those who are not already members of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK) – CILT(UK) – become automatically entitled to membership for the first year.
The current chairperson is Professor Alan G Waller OBE FCILT, Vice President of Solving International, visiting professor at Cranfield School of Management and President of CILT(UK).An executive committee drawn from the membership and two representatives of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK) runs the Forum.
The Forum is a self-funding body operating under the umbrella of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK).
