Winner:   CEVA Logistics for E.ON (UK)

CEVA Logistics working in partnership with the E.ON Logistics team has realised a significant drop in injuries over the last two years. The standard approach was challenged and a desire to move towards a behaviour safety approach adopted. Assisted by the larger organisation achieving OHSAS 18001 accreditation, CEVA Logistics adopted a structured approach to tackling lost time injuries. Specific management targets were set to ensure a minimum number of safety initiatives were implemented including ‘Wednesday Safety Days', ‘Never turn a blind eye' and a novel ‘Moments' campaign to promote employee involvement and risk assessment as standard.
