Transport is the Faculty covering all modes of movement, people and freight: 'Movement from concept to user'. It is currently home to nine Forums, providing many opportunities for members to be involved.

With input from several of the Faculty's Forums, a submission has been made to the Government's consultation on the White Paper 'Planning for a Sustainable Future' which includes proposals for streamlining the planning of major transport projects.

Current Forums are: Aviation; Freight Transport; Freight Forwarding, Ports & Maritime; Local Transport; Road Capacity & Charging; Strategic Rail; Transport Planning; Transport Studies; Passenger Transport Security.
