As a member of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK) you are part of an internationally-recognised network of professionals, all of whom have been assessed and fulfil specific criteria.

You can upgrade your membership, depending on your knowledge and experience, to attain higher levels of membership. Your grade demonstrates your proven expertise and experience and is instantly reflected in the use of your post-nominals – MILT; CMILT; FCILT.

How to upgrade your membership...

There are various routes available for Affiliates and Members who want to upgrade their membership to a higher level – this does depend on the amount of experience you have within your area and your qualifications.

• Apply now by selecting the grade you wish to apply for – MILT; CMILT; FCILT – then download and complete the relevant application form.
• Check your suitability – try our Chartered Membership Online Tool for advice and guidance.
• Prepare for the future – Members are encouraged to progress through the grades by a commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and perpetual learning.
