Young Railway Professionals

Working collaboratively with the YPF, the Young Railway Professionals are a special interest group which may also
appeal to our CILT members who are railway specialists.

The Young Railway Professionals have come to together through the younger members' sections of the Rail
Engineers Forum (REF), which is comprised of the Institution of Railway Operators (IRO), Institution of Mechanical
Engineers (IMechE), Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE), Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET),
Permanent Way Institution (PWI) and The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in the UK (CILT).  We do
however welcome people who are looking to build a career in the Railway, with no formal institute affiliation.
