Liverpool Airport Update and Sustainability at easyJet

In early 2020 the COVID Pandemic started spreading across the world and this had a devastating effect on the aviation sector. However, at the beginning of 2022, the global aviation fleet had the same number of aircraft in service as it did in 2017. Yet, at 25,500, it was almost double the pandemic low reached in mid-2020. After two years of wrestling with the Covid-19 pandemic, the aviation industry is once again poised for a decade of growth.

Robin Tudor, Head of PR & Communications, Liverpool John Lennon Airport will give an update on news from our local airport. This update will cover what has been a very difficult two years but there is now reason for optimism; and
The Sustainability Manager at easyJet will outline their sustainability programme which is important in addressing decarbonisation across the transport sector.
The presentations will be followed by a question and answer session.
