The Doncasters Group is to expand its quality management system by extending Ideagen’s Q-Pulse software to further sites in the UK.
Q-Pulse, an automated quality, safety and compliance management tool, is currently enrolled in four Doncasters’ sites in the UK, helping the organisation with tasks associated with the management of quality such as non-conformances and the tracking of maintenance, recalls and calibration data.
Now, following the success of the software, the company has unveiled plans to expand the product into a further two sites in the UK.
Peter Rowe, Vice President of Quality at Doncasters Group Ltd, said: “Q-Pulse is such a powerful product and has been excellent in regards to the results witnessed at our sites in the UK.
“It has had a significantly positive impact on our business, and not just in the quality department either – Q-Pulse covers a whole gambit of different areas within the business.
“The product has taken a lot of the human issues out of quality management and this has resulted in an increase in quality levels – as well as an awareness of quality in general – at all of our sites currently using the system.”
The project will also see the Q-Pulse system being upgraded to the latest Enterprise version of the product at four Doncasters’ sites in the UK – Bramah, Shrewsbury, Blaenavon and Deritend.
Peter added: “The software, and the expertise and support we receive from Ideagen, has played such a major part in the success of our business. We are delighted to be both upgrading our existing software as well as expanding Q-Pulse into further sites in the UK. We are looking forward to seeing the results of the project in the months and years to come.”

As part of its quality management expansion project, Q-Pulse will now be enrolled to sites in:
- Doncasters FVC in Sheffield
- Doncasters Paralloy in Billingham, North East England
