Meet employers from the logistics and transport sectors providing opportunities in supply chain management, transport planning, operations management and a range of graduate placements.

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) is gearing up to host its first ever LIVE Virtual Careers Fair. This interactive Careers Fair will be streamed live on CILT’s Facebook page on Wednesday 22nd November at 18:00hrs.

Logistics Learning Alliance (LLA) will be on hand to answer your questions directly in real time using our online chat technology.

LLA delivers Continuing Professional Development programmes designed to meet the needs of individuals working in supply chain or logistics functional areas. As a CILT Approved Learning Centre, in 2005, LLA started working with the CILT in helping to develop a suite of programmes specifically designed for those working in the humanitarian aid sector. The project was sponsored by the Fritz Institute and developed under the guidance of the Certification Advisory Group consisting the Heads of Logistics from many of the leading Aid agencies including UN and other major NGO organisations.

Based on a model developed by the LLA team for the commercial sector, the Fritz Institute/CILT Humanitarian Certification programme are unique in offering Certified Professional Competence to the humanitarian sector. This is done through a demonstration of the application of their knowledge and experience in a highly realistic scenario.

Having a good base knowledge of the supply chain and how this works in supporting the delivery of aid to humanitarian beneficiaries, and an understanding of how each of the logistics functional areas support the programme staff is a good basis on which to build. The Certification on Humanitarian Logistics can provide that sound basic competence.

CILT’s LIVE Virtual Careers Fair will include presentations, live talks and question and answer opportunities. Registration is FREE and open to all students looking for a career in the ever-evolving world of logistics and transport.

Students will be able to interact with prominent recruiters, leading organisations and high-profile industry professionals from the comfort of their own home, at no cost, and will gain a head start in understanding the profession and learn more about the opportunities available within the worlds of logistics and transport.

Students can register online for this free, career-changing fair and ensure that their details are given to top industry recruiters.
