Speaker:
Colin Harwood, Public Transport officer, Brighton & Hove City Council
In March 2021, the government requested all councils work in partnership with bus operators to produce Bus Service Improvement Plans and form Enhanced Partnerships. Brighton & Hove previously benefited from a longstanding Quality Bus Partnership and the highest bus use outside London prior to the Covid-19 pandemic. The presentation will discuss what the council and operators are doing in response to the Bus Strategy’s calls to go further in improving bus services and to help regain lost patronage.
