The Logistics Innovation for Trade Fund (LIFT) provides a unique opportunity for companies interested in entering the East African transport and logistics sector or already active in the East African region.
Since 2008, freight volumes through the East African Community’s major ports, Mombasa and Dar es Salaam, have grown at 8% and 13% per annum respectively. With this growth come major transport and logistics investment opportunities in Kenya and Tanzania, to handle the increased freight volumes…. In short, there are ever increasing business opportunities in the region for European companies!
LIFT will competitively allocate financial support to projects aiming to catalyse investment in technologies or improved practice that will impact on the efficiency of the transport and logistics sector across the East African Community.
The Rotterdam half-day event is open to decision makers from Europe’s transport, logistics and financial sector to learn about the grants that can LIFT offer to successful firms: places will be allocated on a first come, first saved basis for this completely free dissemination seminar.
