In House Databases
The In House Databases are resources that are exclusive to the Knowledge Centre Team and can be used on behalf of members as requested through information enquiries.
The databases are also available to Corporate members visiting the John Williams Library. These databases include:
- Corporate Business Review (FAME)
Corporate members need a reliable source of company information for a wealth of purposes. So, The Knowledge Centre provides free access to FAME. FAME is the definitive source of company intelligence with information on around 13 million UK and Irish companies. It is the perfect tool to help find the companies who are most likely to buy from you and the right companies to sell to. It helps to create highly accurate sales and marketing plans by using the comprehensive FAME database to sift through UK companies to find ideal targets.
FAME allows our Corporate members to assess a company’s financial strength, find companies that match required profiles including size, industry and location. This unique data set includes international and domestic ownership information. Compile a detailed picture of a company or companies that includes background information and financial history, as well as analyse a company in relation to its peers. Your sales team will thank you.
- Legal and Compliance Service (Croner-i)
Croner-I is a database of in-depth legislative, compliance regulatory information, guidance and Advice. The Knowledge Centre staff can access the following modules or we can allow timed access for Corporate members to conduct searches by way of a floating login.
