Speakers announced for the Association for Railway Executives events

The Association for Railway Executives (ARE) is pleased to announce the dates and speakers for its 2020 events. All the events will take place at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel and will begin at 18.00 hrs. ARE is an expert-led networking forum for the rail sector, and invites prominent industry leaders to provide a unique discussion around topical issues impacting the profession today.

On Monday 10th February, when Malcolm Brown, Partner, AMP Capital, Head of Asset Management Europe, Chair, Rail Decarbonisation Challenge Taskforce and former CEO, Angel Trains, will discuss the rail decarbonisation challenge. On Monday 18th May, Keith Williams, Independent Chair Williams Rail Review, will assess the challenges of implementing his Williams Review. On Monday 6th July, Peter Wilkinson, Managing Director Rail Passenger Services, Department for Transport, will analyse how to evolve franchising and the future of the transport network.

 Finally, closing the 2020 calendar, John Smith, Managing Director, GB Railfreight, will discuss the opportunities and challenges for rail freight in Britain.
