Maritime Decarbonisation Mapping Workshop

01 March 2023/Categories: Ports, Maritime & Waterways

The Department for Transport (DfT) has an ambitious Clean Maritime Plan, presenting the vision for the future of zero emissions shipping in the UK.

The DfT are running a workshop with multiple companies and organisations in the maritime sector to improve our understanding of the actors in the maritime sector, from shipowners to customers of maritime freight services, and what influence they have on the environmental impact of shipping. They are interested in talking to everyone involved in the maritime freight journey, from importing goods to shipping them.

The workshop will take place on 21st March 2023 13.30 – 15.30(GMT) via Microsoft Teams.

Anything said in the workshop will be kept confidential. The findings from this workshop will not be published and will be used to inform further forthcoming research in this area.

Please email AMASocialResearch@dft.gov.uk by Thursday 16th March 2023 if you are interested in participating. You are not obliged to participate once you opt-in – participation is entirely voluntary.
