CILT launches its President Safety Series event with TfL’s Chief Safety Officer

26 September 2023/Categories: CILT, Logistics & Supply Chain, Institute News

CILT is delighted to announce the launch of its CILT President Safety Series, an initiative spearheaded by current President Leon Daniels.

This new webinar series is an opportunity for individuals to gain a real insight on safety; from logistics and supply chain to air, rail and freight safety.

Designed for cross model collaboration, each webinar will feature a senior exec sharing their unique experience and an opportunity for an open forum Q&A.

The first event in the series will take place virtually on Thursday October 26 at 4pm, covering the crucial topic of road safety with TfL’s Chief Safety, Health & Environment Officer Lilli Matson.

Lilli Matson will sit down with Leon Daniels OBE, President at CILT(UK) to discuss the latest developments and initiatives in road safety.

Lilli Matson leads London’s work to make the capital safe and attractive for all journeys, to achieve the goal of Vision Zero, where no one is injured or killed on the transport network. Lilli is also working to address the climate crisis and achieve a net zero carbon railway by 2030 and to ensure TfL’s environmental performance is exemplary.
