A number of our International Vice Presidents and Trustees will meet in London, on November 10, 2014, to work on our five year Strategy Framework.
This is an important meeting as it is the first time for three years that the International Management Committee has met together outside of the convention.
Paul Brooks, International Management Committee (IMC) Chair and President Elect will be in attendance, alongside President, Dr Dorothy Chan and Kevin Byrne - who will take over from Paul as the IMC Chair from January 1, 2015.
Robin Dunlop (NZ), David Collonette (North America), Radzak Malek (Malaysia), Steve Agg (UK CEO), Aisha Al Ibrahim (WiLAT Chair), Duncan Snook (International Finance Director) and our new CILT Nigeria IVP, Mr Ibrahim Jibril will also be at the event.
The team will be building on the strategy workshop that was held in Melaka, in June, and will be working in discussion groups over a whole day to further structure the plans for the future.
The focus will be on the future growth & development of the organisation, consolidating plans for a decentralised organisation with the goal of truly being the first choice membership organisation globally. This will involve looking in detail at our competitive opposition and creating a structure and a plan to enable us to grow membership and education globally in a strong way.
The focus of our output will be immediate results over a one to two year period with a business plan covering the next five years.
There will be a report looking at November’s meeting in the next newsletter.
Steve Agg, CEO CILT UK, who will be attending the meeting.
Radzak Malek, President, CILT Malaysia, will be attending the meeting.
