DHL announced on Wednesday that is has been named Express Logistics Provider (ELP) of the Year 2012 at the Supply Chain and Transport Awards (SCATA), organised by magazine publisher, ITP Business.
The award for Express Logistics Provider of the Year was presented to Frank-Uwe Ungerer, Country Manager for DHL Express in the UAE.
The nominations were assessed by a panel of logistics experts from across the Middle East, including Salma Ali Saif Bin Hareb, CEO at Economics World and Warith Kharusi, Chairman of the Oman Logistics Association and Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
