Dedicated white-glove specialist Panther Warehousing has further expanded its national network with the opening of a new 25,000 sq ft depot at Bristol that will strengthen its presence in the South West.

Bringing the total number of Panther sites to seven, the new facility is situated close to the M4 and the wider motorway network on the Pucklechurch Trading Estate, Pucklechurch, north-east of Bristol.

The move for the business is one which will improve customers’ experiences in the South-West by reducing both handling and stem mileage and is part of a strategic £3 million investment programme over the next five years.

Panther plans to continue its impressive track record of growth, having enjoyed conspicuous success with doubling turnover in the past two years from just under £13 million in 2013 to a projected £26.5 million this year.

More than 25 jobs have being created at the Bristol Depot with a further 40 to follow over the next 3 months. The Depot handles on average around 1000 items a night. Goods are delivered across Bristol, Avon and South Wales in a fleet of 20 vehicles.

Panther’s regular two-man delivery service ensures that a product is taken to a room of the customer’s choice, with the packaging removed, as a matter of course. In some circumstances, the team will even install a product.

The company offers a vast range of service options including Saturday delivery and is the only two-man delivery carrier to offer a two-man, next-day delivery service in England, Wales and Lowland Scotland.

The opening of the Bristol Depot comes only two years after the company expanded into the South West with the establishment of a depot at Taunton, Somerset.
